Lithuanian developer of transport order management software GoRamp raised €3M. Among existing investors were Vilnius-based investment firm Willgrow, Estonian accelerator and VC Startup Wise Guys, and Prague-based Presto Ventures. Budapest-based firm Lead Ventures was a new investor.
GoRamp was founded in Vilnius in 2017 by Evgeny Polonis and Marius Repecka. The startup developed cloud-based transport order management software, which helps shippers source, plan & monitor freight logistics. Through its platform, companies can automate logistics procurement, reduce costs associated with warehouse load planning and make data-driven decisions that optimize the entire supply chain.

One of the company's solutions is Warehouse Management software, which tracks ramp (the platform which loads cargo) occupancy, truck arrivals, documentation, freight info, correspondence & communications with carriers, suppliers, and other employees.

Another software Dock Scheduling helps warehouse, supply, and logistics managers to plan dock occupancy. It provides visibility of dock occupancy throughout the day, helps to plan truck loading/unloading, reduces truck queues at the yard, and others.

GoRamp has more than 200 customers and works in 20 countries.

GoRamp will use the investment to strengthen its position in the US and European markets.

According to one of the investors Lead Ventures, the reason for backing GoRamp is the company's solution that brings digitization to the transport and logistics industries.
