Lithuanian accelerator Firstpick announced five startups for its third acceleration program

Lithuanian accelerator and venture capital firm Firstpick will invest in five startups during its third acceleration program, which will last for 14 weeks. The teams will receive investment worth €50K to €100K and support in increasing traction and revenue, preparing for the next investment round, hiring talents, and expanding the network.

Founded in Tallinn in 2022 by Kaspar Mooses, Oliver Pappel, and Sander Meister, Inspectle Food is a platform that allows to carry out of hygiene inspections in the food industry more efficiently. As a result, a quality team can solve non-compliance with food safety and quality regulations faster. The platform allows uploading more than 100 non-conformities during the inspection and sending the information (photos, location, etc.) to the responsible persons. In addition, the quality team can automatically generate reports, which help track the inspected areas and the status of all non-compliances in one place.

Founded in Vilnius in 2019 by Andrius Bagdonavičius, service CTO2B automates DevOps practices and provides companies with infrastructure for building applications in the cloud, so they can start new projects faster. CTO2B's software helps analyze the project's current infrastructure, application framework, and deployment procedures and later suggests solutions for application enhancements. The startup provides expertise in architecture and design, backed by its team and blueprints. 

Launched in Vilnius in 2023 by Gintarė Košubienė, Micapass is a fully decentralized on-chain compliance tool. It provides ongoing anti-money laundering screening and monitoring, meaning verifying identities, monitoring transactions, etc. The solution can integrate with any DeFi protocol and allows users to remain anonymous. On September, 8, the startup won €70K investment and an opportunity to participate in the Firstpick acceleration program.

Founded in Vilnius in 2020 by Laurynas Pamparas, Žaislų klubas is a subscription-based service delivering toy sets for kids aged from 6 months up to 7 years old. Žaislų klubas uses AI technology and a network of education specialists to offer toys depending on kids’ interests and development stages. Each set consists of 3-6 toys. After a month of using the toys, the courier delivers a new set and takes back the previous one.

Established in Vilnius by Ilya Malkin, Br1ck is a service that uses AI-powered brick-sorting technology to restore broken plastic toy bricks. The company takes the set of bricks, cleans sorts it, and then designs a new model out of the broken parts. If the client approves a new model, the company sends back a restored set of bricks to the client. 

Soon Firstpick will announce the names of a few more startups that will join its acceleration program. 

Established by an ex-Lithuanian team of Estonian accelerator StartupWiseGuys, a VC and an accelerator Firstpick aims to support 45 startups over the coming three years. Its fund size is €20M. The initial ticket per startup is €50-€200K. The Managing Partners are Jonė Vaitulevičiūtė, Marijus Andrijauskas, Dmitrij Sosunov, and Andra Bagdonaite.
