Lithuanian marketplace for event vendors and couples Breezit raised $2M

Lithuanian AI-powered marketplace Breezit, which connects event vendors with engaged couples, raised $2M. Vilnius-based Practica Capital led the pre-seed round. Among the co-investors were business angels of the Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN).

Established in Vilnius in 2020 by the co-founder of Lithuanian blockchain platform WePower Artūras Asakavičius and Aurelija Gintalienė, Breezit provides couples with accurate pricing information about wedding services, including venues, DJs, photographers, florists, caterers, etc. The marketplace matches the couple's style to the right service providers and facilitates consultations like a personal wedding planner but free of charge. Thus, the customer can discover services that correspond to his requirements and budget. The marketplace has filters for location, date, budget, event type, and more. Once the customer has found a venue, package, or service provider, Breezit’s team coordinates inquiry calls and site tours. Breezit charges venues and service providers a small fee, once they have booked the customer (couple).

Breezit has offices in Southern California and Vilnius. The platform hosts more than 2K individual wedding and event venues and vendors across two continents.

Breezit will use the investments to develop the generative AI capabilities of its venue and vendor marketplace in the US.

Practica Capital was founded in 2021 by Donatas Keras and Silvestras Tamutis. Its Fund III focuses on equity and quasi-equity investments in early-stage technology investments in early-stage Baltic startups. The Fund plans to invest up to €3M in 25 target companies. Practica Capital will allocate more than 50% of the financing to provide follow-on investments.

Founded in 2017 by Martynas Kandzeras, Vladas Lašas, and Rita Sakus, Vilnius-based LitBAN (Lithuanian Business Angel Network) is a syndicate of 38 business angels. LitBAN focuses on early-stage venture investment in Baltic startups. The initial ticket ranges from €200K to €1M.
