Cofounder of Nord Security Tom Okman invested in the US platform for developers' teams Poly API

Cofounder of Lithuanian provider of digital security and privacy solutions for individuals and businesses Nord Security Tom Okman invested in the US AI-powered platform for application developers Poly API. London-based Dig Ventures led this pre-seed round. Mahau Ma and Sara Ali from the US, Akhil Paul from London, Julien Chaumond from Paris, Mirko Novakovic and Vikas Anand from Germany, and John Musser from Canada also participated in the deal.

Founded in Denver in 2023 by Darko Vukovic, Poly API is an AI-powered platform for application developers, which allows them to simplify their API discovery and usage of various APIs. They can discover known company-wide APIs in their IDEs (applications that help programists develop software), and use them as local functions through a dynamic cross-API client library. For instance, Poly's software has been trained on the APIs of Twillio, Asana, Slack, Shopify, and Google Workspace. Poly's technology can teach new APIs if they are not already integrated.

Poly helps companies deploy new functions in their applications in a short period. For example, during peak travel seasons or unexpected disruptions like weather events, airlines may need to notify their customers about flight changes as fast as possible. Poly's technology allows airlines to do it by incorporating APIs for baggage tracking, flight updates, or customer loyalty programs. As a result, it can improve communication with customers.
