Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys invested in a Turkish AI tool for content generation Novus

Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys invested in a Turkish AI tool for content creation and analysis Novus. The $500K round was led by Istanbul-based Inveo Ventures with the participation of US-based investment firms Venture Lane and Aegan Ventures.

Founded by Rıza Egehan Asad and Vorga Can and based in Istanbul and Boston, Novus developed an AI-powered SEO-oriented language model to generate content and analyze it. The company's own NLP technologies help enterprises create original and verified texts. 

Novus solution The Writer offers clients various communications, copy, and content templates, as well as fact-check, plagiarism check, and proofreading. It is possible to train Novus Writer to imitate the style of the user by providing the most effective content, copy, and communication strategies.

Startup Wise Guys has already invested in Novus in 2022. The valuation of the startup was €4,5M. In August 2022, Novus also completed the US acceleration programs MIT Sandbox and Google for Startups and received grant and loan support. 

Novus will use this new investment to continue developing solutions in the field of artificial intelligence, expand globally, and increase the team.

Launched in 2012, Estonian Startup Wise Guys is an accelerator that invests in early-stage startups from the Baltic, Central European, and African regions. It has invested in more than 350 startups and had 13 exits.
