Lithuanian marketplace for mental therapists Tokitus raised €125K from Latvian Venture Faculty
Lithuanian SaaS marketplace for mental therapists Tokitus raised €125K in a pre-seed round from a Latvian network of private investors Venture Faculty.
Founded in Vilnius in 2020 by Ulvia Avidan, the platform unites therapists from all over the world. The startup's solution manages therapists's calendars, session reservations, payments, etc.
Tokitus offers 11 types of mental care therapy, such as psychoanalysis, gestalt therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and others. The sessions can be either individual or in a group. The therapists speak 15 languages.
The company's technology can match clients with appropriate specialists for 5-10 minutes. The client can also choose the therapists he likes by himself. Tokitus designed solutions for corporate employees. The group sessions are intended to manage work-related stress, build more effective interpersonal relationships at the company, and improve employees's job performance.
Apart from sessions, the clients receive extra educational information about psychological health, tips, and expert insights on social networks, where they can ask questions during live broadcasts with experts.
Tokitus will use the investment to expand in the European and UK markets.
Founded in Riga in 2019 by Zeev (Vladimir) Strutsovski, Venture Faculty is a hub, which helps start a product or improve existing company processes. Venture Faculty offers corporate services, legal support, venture and private equity investments, startup consulting, and others.
