Estonian beauty and health tech Haut.AI raises €2M

Estonian beauty and health tech Haut.AI raises €2M from Latvian LongeVC and the VC arm of the Brazilian beauty group of companies Grupo Boticário.

Founded in Tallinn in 2018 by Anastasia Georgievskaya and Konstantin Kiselev, Haut.AI developed a SaaS tool for beauty brands to build skin analysis applications. With the help of AI technology, the tool evaluates the face of the user from his selfie. The tool can identify more than 15 skin health and beauty metrics and suggest appropriate skincare products afterward.

In May 2023, Haut.AI announced a new tool called SkinGPT. It enables skincare virtual try-ons with photorealistic simulations and scientific backing. With the help of the tool, users can see how their skin will change over time when using certain skincare products.

The startup’s technology can be used by retailers, brands, and clinics. Among Haut.AI's clients are German skincare company Beiersdorf, US beauty retailer Ulta Beauty, and others.

Established in 2016 by Garri Zmudze, Sergey Jakimov, and Ilya Suharenko, LongeVC is a venture company with offices in Riga and Lugano (Switzerland). €35M fund backs startups at the early and seed stages across the US and Europe. This year, LongeVC invested in San Francisco-based psychedelics startup Freedom Biosciences, US home kits for blood testing SiPhox Health, US startup Melio, which offers rapid diagnostic solutions for bloodstream infections, and US health tech startup AOA Dx.
