Founded in Vilnius in 2021 by Deividas Celencevičius and Gediminas Geigalas, Boop is an application, which connects pet owners and pet caregivers to offer services for pets. The pet owner signs an agreement with the caregiver on providing the services, and the pet owner can get a refund if the service is not provided properly. Also, Boop offers care insurance for €1 per day to protect the pet's health, life, and possible damage caused by pets. The pet sitters have verified profiles, and the owner can see their ratings and read reviews about them in the application.
The startup will use the investment to enter new markets, expanding to Poland and Finland. Boop plans to continue scaling in neighboring countries and Scandinavia. The valuation of Boop during the round reached €3M. According to Boop, about 15K people use its application.
Founded in Vilnius in 2020 by Laurynas Pamparas, Liledu (ex-Žaislų klubas) is a subscription-based service delivering toy sets for kids aged six months to 7 years old. Žaislų klubas uses AI technology and a network of education specialists to offer toys depending on the kids’ interests and development stages. Each set consists of durable, wooden Montessori 3-6 toys. After a month of using the toys, the courier delivers a new set and takes out the previous one. After used toys get cleaned, they can be sent to the next kid.
LILEDU will use the investment to accelerate its growth and start testing its services in new markets, particularly in the United Kingdom. In September, LILEDU joined the third acceleration program of Firstpick. The startup received their investment worth €50K to €100K.
