Estonian agritech Agrovisio raised €260K

Tallinn-based startup Agrovisio, which provides analytics of agricultural areas and crops to farmers, raised €260K from Turkish motor vehicle manufacturer TürkTraktör at a valuation worth of €4M.

Founded in 2017 by Caner Çalık, Emre Tunali, and Sinan Öz, Agrovisio is a platform that uses satellite imagery to monitor agricultural areas during the year. The startup offers farmers services of cultivated area determination, yield estimation, harvest determination, plant health, and development follow-up analysis. They are basic factors affecting the supply and price of the crop. Agrovisio uses an artificial intelligence-supported algorithm and an early warning system.

According to the company, its solution helps users see the expectations in agricultural supply faster and make more confident purchasing decisions. The analytics, provided by the platform, can be used by farmers, agricultural industry organizations, government agencies, insurance companies, banks, and cooperatives. The startup has offices in Tallinn, Milan, and Ankara.

Agrovisio is a portfolio company of Estonian accelerator StartupWiseGuys, a lead investor in a €2M round of the startup in 2021.
