Startup Wise Guys has invested in Turkish ERG Controls
Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys has invested in Turkish health and hygiene technology ERG Controls. The company has raised $500K. Turkish TechOne VC, 100th Year Venture Capital, Founder One, members of Turkish angel investment network TRAngels, and business angels Bülent Çelebi and Koray Kurhan also participated in the round.
ERG Controls is an IoT startup based in Istanbul. The company was founded in 2020 by Batuhan Ergör and Mehmet Ergör.
ERG Controls offers a solution to prevent the transmission of infections and other diseases through hands by tracking all employee hand hygiene activities through its AI platform YIKA. The startup will use the investment received to strengthen its international market presence and expand its team.
Launched in 2012, Estonian Startup Wise Guys is an accelerator that invests in early-stage startups from the Baltic, Central European, and African regions. It has invested in more than 350 startups and had 13 exits. Startup Wise Guys typically invests up to €500K per startup through multiple funds, which manage €45M and are backed by more than 150 investors. The CEO of the accelerator is Cristob Alonso.
