Estonian VC Superangel invested in the Norwegian industrial automation platform OTee
Estonian investment firm Superangel co-led a €1,25M round of Oslo-based industrial automation platform OTee. Another lead investor was the Norwegian venture capital fund RunwayFBU. In addition, Swedish accelerator Antler, Norwegian VC StartupLab, and some angel investors from Norway joined the round.
Established in Oslo in 2022 by Henrik Pedersen and Radek Janik, OTee is a B2B SaaS platform that allows automation engineers to set up, test, and safely operate industrial control systems in real-time. For instance, one of the startup's solutions Architecture Builder helps manage data flow and access, deploy services within a digital computer that automates industrial processes (PLC infrastructure), define and connect remote hardware using standard protocols, and others.
Founded in 2018 in Tallinn by Veljo Otsason and Rain Rannu, Superangel focuses on pre-seed and seed investment in the Baltics and Nordics. The General Partners are Marko Oolo and Mikko Silventola. The fund concentrates on deep tech and AI, mobility and logistics, fintech, and SaaS. A typical ticket size is between €300K and €800K.
