Yolo Investments injected €1,1M into Malta-based i-gaming studio Just Slots

Estonian venture capital firm Yolo Investments provided a Malta-based i-gaming studio Just Slots financial support worth €1,1M.

Founded in Malta in 2023, Just Slots is a developer of a gaming platform that offers users diverse online slots. It operates in the B2B sector. The startup’s CEO is Thomas Groven, and the CCO is Christine Parkhill.

The company will use the investment to continue developing its first gambling games to be able to release its first game in 2024. Also, the startup plans to expand its team and continue forming B2B partnerships in the gaming sector. Apart from investments, Estonian Yolo will assist Just Slots in game development strategy. 

Founded in Estonia by Tim Heath in 2017, Yolo Investments focuses on seed- and A-stage investment across gaming and fintech. Tim Heath specializes in the iGaming industry. He is also a founder and a Board Member of the Yolo Group, which operates gaming brands such as bitcasino.io and sportsbet.io. In 2023, Yolo Investments backed the US art streaming service Loupe and Israeli gaming company Fanton.

In December 2023, an Estonian investment firm announced the launch of its €100M Yolo Fund II L.P. The company aimed to invest in online gaming, blockchain, fintech, and renewable energies. In total, Yolo Investments plans to back 20-30 ventures.
