Plural invested in London-based AI startup for recruiters Metaview
Plural, founded by Estonian entrepreneurs Sten Tamkivi and Taavet Hinrikus, has invested in a London-based AI-powered note-taking platform for recruiters Metaview. The fund was a lead investor in Metaview's €6.4M round. Other investors included US-based Coelius Capital, Vertex Ventures, Village Global, London-based VC Seedcamp, and some business angels, from the US and UK.
Founded in 2018 by former Uber product lead Siadhal Magos and former Palantir engineering lead Shahriar Tajbakhsh, Metaview is a platform that automates the process of note-taking for recruiters during the interview. The platform also offers such features as analysis and objective summary generation, enabling recruiters to make informed, data-driven decisions. After the interview, a recruiter gets an AI-generated summary of everything that was discussed. He can also make any edits before sharing this information with the team.
Metaview's technology helps recruiters save at least 20 hours per hire, allowing them to find the right candidate faster. The company's solution works with a range of tools, including ATS, GoodTime, Calendly, all video conferencing platforms, and mobile calls.
Metaview will use the investment to accelerate product development and expand its team. The company plans to triple its engineering team over the next 18 months. The company currently works with Brex, Quora, Pleo, Improbable, Localyze, and others.
Founded in 2022 and managed by Sten Tamkivi, Taavet Hinrikus, Ian Hogarth, Khaled Helioui, and Carina Namih, Plural focuses on leading early-stage rounds between €1M and €10M.
