Developer of robot road marking 10Lines raises €1,5M

Estonian autonomous solution for road marking solution 10Lines has secured €1,5M led by Estonian Tera Ventures and Paris-based VC Karista, with participation from Helsinki-based Butterfly Ventures and a business angel Mike Oliinyk, a former employee of Uber, Wise, and Wolt.

Founded in Tallinn in 2019 by Tarmo Prints and Janno Paas, 10Lines makes autonomous line marking solutions. The company claims that its robot can complete line markings seven times faster than a human. 10Lines uses robotics and AI technologies to automate line marking operations, which allows operators to eliminate the need for manual processes, including measuring and pre-marking.

The startup will use the investment to accelerate the development of its autonomous robots and software, drive its expansion into the US market, and expand its engineering team.
