Startup Wise Guys invests in AI-powered solution for online research Collabwriting

Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys has invested in a Serbian AI-powered solution for online research Collabwriting, which allows one to organize, leave comments, and share with colleagues key insights, found on the web and in PDF documents. The €1,1M round was led by Polish-US SMOK Ventures. Romanian Underline Ventures, Fortech, V7 Capital, Czech Credo Ventures, and Hungarian Fiedler Capital, also joined the round.

Founded in 2021 in Belgrade by Sandra Idjoski and Ivan Ralic, Collabwriting offers a browser extension that allows users to create shareable notes and highlights on any web page online or in PDFs. The user can also leave comments, save the most key insights, create public links, set permissions for different users, and link insights from key stakeholders directly to their sources. All found information is saved, tracked, and organized. The topic or part of it can be exported from Collabwriting's dashboard to Google Documents or Notion. Collabwriting's users are professionals, working in the law, consulting, and R&D industries.

The startup will use the investment to further develop its solution, implement new AI features, expand its team, and grow its user base.
