Funderbeam CEO Kaidi Ruusalepp steps down

The CEO of Estonian equity funding and trading platform Funderbeam, Kaidi Ruusalepp, will step down in June after 11 years at the helm of the company. 

Kaidi, who is also one of the founders of Funderbeam, will continue to be involved at a strategic level on the group's board. A new CEO will not be appointed for the time being. Kaidi also commented that she is working on several new projects which will be announced at the end of the year.

Alan Foy, the chairman and co-founder of Irish venture private equity group VentureWave, which acquired a strategic majority stake in Funderbeam in 2023, will be appointed as the executive chairman of the Funderbeam Ltd Board. 

Founded in Tallinn in 2013 by Kaidi Ruusalepp and Urmas Peiker, Funderbeam helps investor networks, accelerators, and other venture investors manage their syndicated investments and post-investment flows, as well as handle secondary transactions across borders. Funderbeam holds investment firm licenses in the UK, Estonia (covering the European economic area), and Singapore.
