Lithuanian agtech AgroSync raises €140K from Fiedler Capital

Lithuanian farm field management platform developer AgroSync has raised €140K from Budapest-based Fiedler Capital.

Founded in Vilnius in 2023 by Lukas Grigaravicius and Karolis Paulikas, AgroSync is developing a platform that provides farmers with up-to-date information on soil health, climate conditions, plant well-being, and pest control. The startup also offers farmers professional consulting services.

AgroSync uses multispectral analysis, which is based on the ability of a satellite camera to photograph the Earth’s surface and crops using different wavelengths of light (beyond the visible spectrum). The information obtained can reveal hidden stress zones, crop health, and water distribution patterns, and help create accurate nitrogen fertilization maps. Nitrogen fertilization maps can help farms save up to 20% on fertilizers by optimizing the distribution of productivity zones.

Satellite images also allow the platform to track crop conditions over large areas, providing images of past seasons and current months, allowing plants to be assessed in all their conditions and growth stages.

The startup will use the investment to further develop the platform.
