Estonian Fairmus acquires Distrus

Estonian streaming platform Fairmus raised in a seed round of €120K this year and in the summer acquired Estonian music digital distribution platform Distrus

Fairmus was founded in 2020 by Tõnis Kivisild, Juko-Mart Kõlar, Kristjan Ulst, and Reigo Ahven. The company participated in Tehnopol's Startup Incubator program. Fairmus charges each listener a monthly fee that is distributed among the musicians whose music they listen to. 

Distrus was founded by Stig Rästa and Fred Krieger. 

In April 2023, Fairmus acquired 100% of the Estonian music copyright marketplace Fanvestory.
