Lithuanian Game Insight founder suspects Russian judge of illegal activities
Igor Matsanyuk, founder of Lithuanian Game Insight, accuses bankruptcy trustee Denis Kachura and the Russian judge handling the company's bankruptcy proceedings of being part of a group that engaged in illegal activities. This he claims in a letter to the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation.
In 2022, the gaming company shut down its operations in Russia. The company was bankrupted, leaving debts to its employees - about 150M rubles to 270 employees and more debts to counterparties. In February 2023, Game Insight's bankruptcy trustee Denis Kachura accused the Lithuanian gaming company Game Insight Group of deliberately bankrupting its Russian subsidiary Game Insight, whose beneficiaries are Igor Matsanyuk, Mikhail Vinshel and Grigory Finger. In August of the same year, the owners of Game Insight announced their intention to repay the debts of their Russian subsidiary in the amount of €1.92M.
Game Insight Group was founded in Vilnius in 2009. The company's owners are Cyprus Game Insight Holdings Limited and Sergey Avetikov. The Chairman of the Board is Igor Matsanyuk. Russian Game Insight developed games for the Lithuanian structure and received funds from it. The Lithuanian company owned the trademarks and intellectual rights to the game studio, while the Russian company was engaged in custom development and had no rights to the games.
